Magnifying
his shots
Our ambition in this project was to revisit the traditional online portfolio to convert it into an immersive digital
experience.
Our core idea from the beginning was to conceive a website that would be overdone with unnecessary elements and very focused on the visuals. The website is launched in full screen and its interface is very minimalist: for example, the menu appears only with a rollover.
Intuitive
and fluid
Our second bias was to conceive a navigation that would work
with a zoom in/zoom out system that allows to go from a 500 pictures mosaic to the most accurate detail in a picture, using a simple
continuous scroll.
The user can therefore embrace the full work from Robert Jaso or spend some time on the details of a composition, and go from one to another without being interrupted by any required click.
The user can also sort the pictures using a filter system so he can review them by themes.
From infinitely big to
infinitely detailed
100%
optimized
From a technical standpoint, we needed to optimize the website at maximum to be able to feature not less than 200 pictures
simultaneously out of the 500 available in the base.
The user could therefore move and zoom in the mosaic with no
latency. It was also possible to zoom in in every HD photo without any loading delay that could alter the experience.
No loading, no latency,
for a total pictorial
experience
